Neta Levran

Short biography

Neta Levran is an M.Sc. student in Urban and Regional Planning in the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning of the TII. Her study focuses on edible trees in the urban environment, asking what are, from an institutional perspective, the barriers to the use of the fruits of these trees. She earned her social science degree (B.A.) at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2012) and her architecture handesay training at Shenkar Handesaim (2018). Has practical experience in architecture and urban planning (TABA) on Nir-Kutz Architecture inc. as well as ten years as owner and manager of Pub HaShoftim in Tel-Aviv. Sees the urban planning discipline as an optimism infuser, forcing us to imagine and create a better world for the future. Takes part in the Young Planners Forum, trying to spread and implement ideas through a net of peers. Food and its relation to planning is a main field of interest.
